Wickes Group PLC reported strong sales growth in its Q3 2025 trading update, with overall group revenue increasing by 6.9% year-on-year. Both Retail and Design & Installation segments performed well
**Retail**Revenue grew by 6.7%, driven by increased volumes, stable pricing, and strong customer demand across all fulfillment channels. Click & Collect sales rose 18% year-on-year, aided by a faster 15-minute service. TradePro sales increased by 8%, supported by a growing active membership base of 632,000. DIY sales also saw mid-single-digit growth.
**Design & Installation**Revenue growth strengthened to 7.8%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of order growth and the second quarter of positive like-for-like (LFL) delivered sales growth. This reflects the success of enhancements made to the customer offer in H2 2024.
The company continues to invest in strategic growth initiatives, including new store openings (two in Q3, with two more planned for Q4), store refits, and SaaS technology to improve customer experience and productivity. Despite increased P&L costs of £10m due to technology investments, Wickes remains comfortable with market forecasts for 2025 adjusted PBT, currently at £48.3m.
CEO David Wood highlighted the company’s market share gains in Retail and the momentum in Design & Installation, expressing confidence in Wickes’ position for the full year. The company expects to report Q4 trading in late January 2026.
